Lantern festival outing at West coast park with Sj peeps. I'm the chairwoman. hahaha! Didn't went barrage because sec3s got their tuition which end quite late and they may not have the time to play when the reach barrage. So settle at west coast park.
As planned, everyone have to bring their own lantern and tea for the activity at night.. Meet Chuthing in the afternoon and went over to giant to get some tidbits, sparkles and candles. Candles there were out of stock. So rushed over to NTUC to get some. Luckily, there was plenty over there. Meet the rest and took bus there.
Got a spot and settle down. Waited for the children to settle down to fly their kites and Chuthing, Yongthai and myself went over to the hawker centre for food. Went back after food and rest for awhile. Very quickly, the night fall. Sky darken. Took their orders for mac and help them to buy back. While they were having their dinner, officers started to play with our lanterns. It’s like finally after so long I hold a proper candle lantern. Had fun. While everyone was busy playing with their candles and sparkles, we went to get ready for the birthday surprise. Success?
After the surprise, we sat down together, admire the stars and the ¾ moon while drinking our tea and eating the moon cake. Finish the remaining candles and sparkles and pack up.
