Day 33, 15/4/2011
Today is the last day of our internship. We had our last review with Mr Woon and Mr Yeo. Everyone of us shared our own learning points and point of view.
Lunch was treated by Mr Woon at Pizza Hut. (Y)
Dinner was treated by Mr Yeo at the popular fish head steamboat. And afterwhich, boss treated us to KBox at Marina Square.
That's the end of my internship..
Day 32, 14/4/2011
Went out station with Min Guang and Anson at Woodlands Industrial park. It was quite successful as we completed all the survey forms which we’ve with us. There was one potential one, where by the lady was doing a project with LTA and need some LED Lightings. She said that she will call Mr Yeo to understand and know more about their product.
Day 31, 13/4/2011
Went outstation with Daryl and Limin at Jurong International Business Park. It was again an unsuccessful trip. All the offices and buildings there are controlled by security guards. We couldn’t just walk in just like that.
Day 30, 12/4/2011
Limin and I was staying in the office doing cold-callings and collection of data-base while the rest of the guys are doing outstation. Faced the usual problems such as rejections.
Day 29, 11/4/2011
Today, the whole team went outstation at Changi Business Park as Anson was on leave for medical appointment. The day was quite unsuccessful as the security in there was rather tight and we’re unable to break through the security guards. We decided to plan for the venue for outstation for the following day.

We had a review section with Mr Yeo and discussed about which area we should target for the next week.
Day 28, 7/4/2011
Stayed indoor together with Daryl while the rest of the team went out for outstation.
Did cold-calling and sorting out of the survey forms. Cold-calling was like the usual result, whereby, the companies’ receptionists just entertain you because of the ‘promised’ short survey. That’s the feeling which I’ve got when hearing the tone of reply from the other party.
Day 27, 6/4/2011
Today was outstation again with Daryl and Anson while Limin and Min Guang are staying indoor to do the usual routine of cold-calling and blasting of emails. Today, we went to Tai Seng Industrial area. When we reached there, we then realize that it’s really widespread and we were really lost of where to go.
We then decided to reccee around the area before deciding to change a target area. So after lunch, we decided to change place to conduct survey. We decided to go to Singpost at Paya Lebar. We went and started off with the highest level, having the mindset that as long as there’s a receptionist there, we will go in for a survey.
We happened to chance upon this healthcare product company; the receptionist was nice and did really entertained us. At the end, she expressed her interest about our One Touch product and praise us for our good presentation. We’re planning to send them an email by this Friday and do a follow-up subsequently.
Day 26, 5/4/2011
Today was going outstation with Min Guang and Anson while Limin and Daryl are staying indoor to do the cold-callings and helping Chong to do some jobs. Outstation was kind of unsuccessful. Went around, but was rejected as the gatekeepers are strong.
Day 25, 4/4/2011
Today was staying indoor together with Anson while the rest of the team is doing outstation. We did the usual routine, cold-calling and collection of data-base. Cold-calling today wasn’t that successful. To my surprise, there’re none successful cold-calls. Was rejected all along and reasons which the other party gave was that they are too busy, there isn’t any meeting room in the office, the person in-charge are not around in the office and lastly, call back later.

Day 23, 31/3/2011
Went outdoor today with Daryl and Min Guang while Limin and Anson are staying indoor. We tackled the whole China Square and got a few successful surveys. One insurance company’s receptionist actually gave us a compliment by giving us the direct contact to the HR manager.
We also chance upon and met the CEO of Cerebos. We actually went to the wrong floor and he actually direct us to the correct floor to the receptionist.
Day 22, 30/3/2011
Stay indoor for today with Min Guang while the rest of the team went for outdoor. Staying indoor is like the usual practice of mass cold-callings.
Day 21, 29/3/2011
Stay indoor for today with Daryl and Limin while Anson and Min Guang are doing outdoor. We did the usual practice of mass collection of data-base and cold-callings.
Day 20, 28/3/2011
Today due to Mr Chong was on leave and Mr Yeo has a seminar, the whole team is doing outdoor together.
We went back to lavender and went back to Textile Centre and Sultan Plaza to continue our survey. We have gotten a few successful surveys done. We even went in to a lighting company, without knowing that they are also doing lightings. The manager is nice enough to entertain us and provide us with a little bit of information of their company. They are actually dealing with LED tubs too. Mainly on solar panel and RP was their customer too.
After lunch, we decided to go over to Clarke Quay.
